About our Community

Legacy Classical Academy

What is a Scholé Community?
A Scholé group is a community of students, mentored by adults, that aims to cultivate a passion for Truth, Goodness, and Beauty through the content of a Christian classical curriculum. The curriculum is complemented by the pursuit of restfulness in learning or scholé, through contemplation, conversation, and reflection. Deep engagement creates enjoyable, permanent learning.

Who are we?
Our Christian community is made up of seasoned homeschooling families as well as those who have just begun their homeschooling journey. We are families led to pursue Christian classical education with an integrated subject approach and reach students’ hearts to shape their affections! We believe Christian classical education is the best vehicle by which parents can achieve the goal of
training well-rounded virtuous students. We value our community of parents and wish for them to be active in our community at all student levels.
