We are a two-day-a-week Classical Christian Community of intentional home educators and experienced leaders and tutors.
We are united by a shared commitment to guide students toward personal virtue, academic excellence, and rightly ordered loves.
WHAT IS A CLASSICAL CHRISTIAN EDUCATION?
Classical
The purpose of classical education is to cultivate human excellence or virtue. According to classical tradition, the good, the true, and the beautiful are the soul’s nourishment. This sort of education cultivates students' creative and spiritual lives so that the whole child is truly prepared for a life of excellence.
Therefore, we aim to be a gateway for parents and students to discover the rich legacy of thinking, writing, and speaking that exposes us to these realities.
Christian
Christians gladly affirm and announce that Christ is Lord. All things are from him and through him and to him (Romans 11:36). All of our discovery, reasoning, and ambition is to be done unto him and according to his design.
For these reasons, we aim to provide an educational model that serves parents and students by joyfully standing in the historic Protestant Christian tradition.
Education
Modern education exists to prepare students to do something, but true education must train students to be something. Jobs, skills, trades, and colleges will come and go, but a student who is trained as a lifelong learner, accustomed to rigorous thinking, self-discipline, and service will be ready to excel in any vocation.
Therefore, we have arranged our program to serve parents and students with the sort of education that emphasizes soul formation rather than information.
